Medical Social Assistance
Medical social assistance can help patients and families address social and practical concerns related to their circumstances. Support may include helping individuals navigate challenges connected to their care and identifying appropriate resources when needed.
Social Worker Services
Social workers provide support for social and emotional concerns that may arise during hospice care. They work with patients and families to better understand their circumstances and provide guidance related to identified needs.
Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral counseling offers an opportunity for patients and families to discuss spiritual or personal concerns with appropriate pastoral support. Conversations can be guided by the individual’s beliefs, preferences, and circumstances.
Spiritual Services
Spiritual services provide space for patients and families to address spiritual concerns during the hospice experience. Support is approached with respect for each person’s individual beliefs and preferences.
Bereavement Services
Bereavement services provide support for individuals and families coping with grief following the loss of a loved one. These services recognize that grief can be experienced differently from person to person and provide an opportunity to receive appropriate support during the bereavement process.
